About Kelly
Kelly holds a BA in Communication Studies from Indiana University and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University, with a concentration in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling. She is an EMDR and somatic therapist at Centerpoint Healing in Denver.
Before pursuing her work in the body arts and mental health, Kelly’s background included leadership roles with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Indiana, advertising and promotions in the video distribution industry, developing an inner-city elementary literacy and social competency program, and helping build her husband’s software company.
Kelly’s path into the body arts grew from her own healing journey. While training for endurance running in her late 20s, she developed chronic hip, back, and widespread pain accompanied by deep fatigue. Pilates, yoga, and meditation became essential tools for restoring balance, managing pain, and cultivating resilience—practices that continue to shape both her personal life and professional approach.
Now based in Colorado, Kelly enjoys the outdoors, yoga, meditation, reading, crocheting, skiing, and camping. She remains deeply committed to exploring integrative ways to support health, healing, and well-being.
